Here is what you will see when you open a student file.
EVAL or IEP -- you will see documents linked if the student has one.
Service Received -- will be listed with type of service & time/day they are given
Plan, schedule -- where you will find the student goals, plans, and the go-to document for the student info (I am working on these). Think.. hmm what do I need to know about this student? Look here!
As you scroll, you will see the Communication Log:
Any communication related to intervention should be logged
If there are RTI/team meetings, click on the "open" tab to see the meeting notes + agenda
Underneath, you will see "Running Notes". This is where staff members who are interacting with that student write down observations, things you are learning, etc... Please put the date and then your name on top of each note. Please write at the top, so the most recent note is at the top!
We are in a place where we want to collect as MUCH info as possible for the kids, so please, please write down information on running notes if you have it!
